Avantasia y Ayreon

Avantasia y Ayreon, dos de los proyectos más ambiciosos de este año con los lanzamientos de ambos, The Scarecrow y 01011001 respectivamente, unen sus fuerzas para grabar un antigüo tema de Alice Cooper, Elected. Da click aquí para escuchar un fragmento de la canción.

Las cabecillas de estos movimientos musicales y preciosistas se fusionaron para un EP de cuatro tracks que se lanzará el 28 de Abril en Europa cuyo nombre es simplemente Elected. Además del cover de Cooper, hay 3 cortes más en distintas versiones de Ayreon como (acústico), E=mc2 con Marjan Welman a la voz, y Day Six: Childhood con Joost van den Broek y Welman cantando.

Avantasia con cerca de 20 músicos se estará presentando en México en el mes de Junio; mientras que la siguiente semana publicaremos una entrevista con Arjen Lucassen de Ayreon.
